Beautiful high grade strip of 3 North Carolina colonial notes. The top note in the strip is a 2 shilling, 6 pence, followed by a 1 pound and 10 shilling note. Bills of this issue were printed with engraved plates with a vignette on the left corner. The notes of this strip have a house, bear, and ship vignette. This strip appears to be choice uncirculated, besides a corner fold on the bottom right. Interestingly, there is an error in the serial numbers of this strip, with the 2 shilling, 6 pence note bearing the serial number 27927 where the other two notes are serial numbered 7927.

Signers: Richard Caswell, Lewis De Rosset, John Rutherfurd, John Harvey
