Notes from this July 14, 1760 North Carolina issue were minimalistic with a typeset design. “Death to Counterfeit” can be seen on the edges printed with a blank reverse. Only 2,500 of these 2 Shilling bills were originally printed. Low denominations such as this are nearly impossible to find in any condition. Only 2 examples are known to survive. Fantastic value for the rarity.
