Very appealing example from the July 14, 1760 North Carolina issue. Notes from this issue were minimalistic with typeset. “Death to Counterfeit” can be seen on the left, right, and bottom edges of this well preserved note. Only 1,000 of these 3 Pound notes were originally printed. This was the highest denomination of the series, bold ink and bright paper.
