This April 23, 1761 2 Shilling notes was printed by James Davis. Although higher denomination notes from this series such as the 20s & 30s are relatively common, lower denominations such as this 2 Shilling note were heavily circulated and not many survived. Of the 5,000 originally printed, only 6 examples of this note are known to exist today.
