This April 23, 1761 3 Shilling note was printed by James Davis. Although higher denomination notes from this series such as the 20s & 30s are relatively common, lower denominations such as this 3 Shilling bill were heavily circulated and faced very low survivability. The front features ornamental borders and a typeset design. Very scarce, of the 3,000 originally printed, only 15 examples are known to exist today. Relatively nice legibility for this note that usually comes very tattered.
