This 3 Pound note from the December 1771 issue was the second highest denomination of the series and is larger in size than the smaller denominations. The bottom left features a bold vignette of the “MAGNA CHARTA”. Only 3,000 3 Pound notes were originally printed. Lovely eye appeal for the grade with light paper and bright signatures with neat contemporary annotations. This note was previously a part of the iconic John J. Ford Jr. Collection.
