This $1/2 note features a beautiful Owl vignette. The vignettes of this issue were engraved in copper plates by Gabriel Lewyn, a goldsmith from Baltimore. Only 9 examples of this owl note are known to exist today. This note has a tape repair on the reverse and nice margins.
