This higher denomination $5 bill features an interesting vignette of an elaborately engraved thrush bird. The vignettes of this issue were engraved in copper plates by Gabriel Lewyn, a goldsmith from Baltimore. Scarce and sought after 1776 North Carolina note. Of the 10,000 Triton bills originally printed, only 25 are known to exist today.
