North Carolina Colonial Note Fr#NC-65 April 4, 1748 10s PCGS 15 *Scarce*
This early 1748 North Carolina note features a relatively minimalistic design besides the beautiful horse emblem on the lower left. Notes from this issue were printed from engraved copper plates and held the purpose of funding fortifications for the colony and reducing public debts. Incredibly scarce with few survivors. Of the 2,000 originally printed, only 22 are known to exist today. Neat early note in relatively nice condition with a full date.
