$0.00
Sold Out

The notes of the March 9, 1754 North Carolina issue had a minimalistic design and various seals. This early 8 Pence note features an incredibly interesting butterfly vignette. Much scarcer than higher denominations in the series. Of the 20,000 originally printed only 5 are known to exist today. These low denominations experienced a lot of handling and are usually seen in much lower grade. This appealing example has light paper that is fully intact and nice ink. Extremely difficult find this nice.

Signers: John Starkey, John Swann, Samuel Swann, Lewis De Rosset
