North Carolina Colonial Note Fr#NC-95 May 4, 1758 10s PCGS 2 *5 Known*
The May 4, 1758 North Carolina issue is generally scarce. Only 7,000 Pounds worth of these 6% interest bearing bills were printed. This note is larger in size than the 1760/1761 issue and was printed with a typeset and ornamental border design by James Davis. This 10 Shilling bill was the smallest denomination of the issue. Incredibly scarce, of the 2,000 10 Shilling bills originally printed, only 5 are known to exist today. Very affordable example of this rarity with a neat contemporary newspaper backing.
