The incredibly scarce December 22, 1758 North Carolina issue was printed by James David on very thin paper with a typeset and ornamental border design. Only 4,000 Pounds of treasury bills were printed in this issue bearing 6% interest payable on June 10, 1761. Below the printed authorization date is a partially hand written date. This is the first note from this issue that we have offered. Rare with no prices listed in Newman and comps consistently bringing 2-3x this example. Contemporary patch repair with rag paper.
