This low denomination note was printed by Benjamin Franklin and David Hall. The smaller denominations of this series were small in size and have a typeset reverse rather than nature print. Franklin implemented the British arms on the front rather than Penn arms. Of the 60,000 6 Pence notes originally printed, only 9 are known to survive today.
