This low denomination note was printed by Benjamin Franklin and David Hall. The smaller denominations of this series were small in size and have a typeset reverse rather than nature print. Franklin implemented the British arms on the front rather than Penn arms. “Printed by B. Franklin” can be distinguished on the middle of the reverse. Only 8 examples of this note are known to exist.
