Pennsylvania Colonial Note Fr#PA-86 July 1, 1757 10s PMG 8 *Printed by Ben Franklin*
This early note was printed by Benjamin Franklin and David Hall. Very attractive legibility on the front of this note with 2 crowns denoting the value (1 crown for every 5 Shillings). On the reverse, “Printed by B. Franklin” can be read across the bottom and “To Counterfeit is Death” can be read across the top. A leaf nature print is partly visible on the middle of the reverse. Interestingly, the reverse of this note is inverted as a printing error.
