This early 15 Shilling note was printed by Benjamin Franklin and David Hall. Franklin implemented the British arms on the front rather than Penn arms. Nature print can be seen on the reverse. “Printed by B. FRANKLIN” can be very clearly seen across the bottom of the reverse with “To Counterfeit is DEATH” on the top. Additionally, this note was signed by Charles Thomson, an American Founding Father, only secretary of the Continental Congress playing a key role in the founding of our nation. Fantastic detail besides the tape on reverse. Very scarce note with 9,900 originally printed and only 25 known to survive today. Low serial number 32.
