Pennsylvania Colonial Note Fr#PA-126 June 18, 1764 20s PCGS 20 *Printed by Ben Franklin*
This 20 Shilling note was printed by Benjamin Franklin and David Hall. Franklin implemented the British arms on the front rather than Penn arms. 4 crowns can be seen above the arms on the front, each representing 5 Shillings in value. Nature print can be seen on the reverse. Very nice example with bold signatures and wonderful legibility. “Printed by B. FRANKLIN” can be clearly seen across the bottom of the reverse with “To Counterfeit is DEATH” on the top. Quality example, seldom seen this nice.
Signers: Jonathan Mifflin, Joseph Saunders, Samuel Morris Jr.
