Pennsylvania Colonial Note Fr#PA-126 June 18, 1764 20s PMG 12 *Printed by Ben Franklin*
This 20 Shilling note was printed by Benjamin Franklin and David Hall. Franklin implemented the British arms on the front rather than Penn arms. 4 crowns can be seen above the arms, each representing 5 Shillings of value. “Printed by B. Franklin” remains clearly visible along the bottom of the reverse with “To Counterfeit is DEATH” at the top. Very appealing example for the grade with strong signatures.
Signers: Joseph Sims, William Bingham, Joseph Stamper
