This 20 Shilling note was printed by Benjamin Franklin and David Hall. Franklin implemented the British arms on the front rather than Penn arms. 4 crowns can be seen above the arms on the front, each representing 5 Shillings in value. Nature print can be seen on the reverse. Nice VF example with strong signatures and wonderful legibility throughout. “Printed by B. FRANKLIN” can be seen across the bottom of the reverse with “To Counterfeit is DEATH” on the top. Fantastic addition and a key note for any colonial collection.
