Pennsylvania Colonial Note Fr#PA-126 June 18, 1764 20s PMG VF-25 GCC Green *Ben Franklin*

$2,350.00

This 20 Shilling note was printed by Benjamin Franklin and David Hall. Franklin implemented the British arms on the front rather than Penn arms. 4 crowns can be seen above the arms on the front, each representing 5 Shillings in value. Nature print can be seen on the reverse. Exceptional example with strong signatures and wonderful legibility. “Printed by B. FRANKLIN” can be clearly seen across the bottom of the reverse with “To Counterfeit is DEATH” on the top. Top notch quality for a Franklin note with very strong eye appeal for the grade with particularly strong signatures and bold reverse printing. Well deserving of the green sticker from GCC. Fantastic addition and a key note for any colonial collection.
