Pennsylvania Colonial Note Fr#PA-157 April 3, 1772 2s6d PCGS 20 *John Morton Signature*
This is normally a relatively common Pennsylvania note printed by Hall and Sellers, but this example bears the sought after signature of John Morton, a signer of the United States Declaration of Independence adding significant value to this note. This 2 Shilling, 6 Pence note features a chevron design on the reverse rather than the usual nature print. Very nice problem free note with a superior example of John Morton’s signature in the center.
Signers: John Sellers, JOHN MORTON*, Charles Humphreys
