The primary purpose of the March 20, 1773 Pennsylvania issue was to fund the construction of the Cape Henlopen Lighthouse, piers, and buoys. The reverse features an engraving of the lighthouse. The pillars on the front have the words “LIGHT HOUSE” and “PIERS & BOUYS”. Printed by Hall and Sellers on paper containing mica flake and blue thread. Very appealing problem free note with clean paper and bold ink, especially on the reverse.
