Only 6000 Pounds worth of bills were printed in this hard to find March 25, 1775 Pennsylvania issue. The purpose of this issue was to fund the Cape Henlopen Lighthouse, buoys, and piers which can be seen on the obverse pillars. Similar to the March 20, 1773 issue with a beautiful ornamental and lighthouse scene on the reverse with “To Counterfeit is Death”. Printed by Hall and Sellers on paper with blue threads and mica flakes. Gorgeous example well deserving of the EPQ designation from PMG.
