The notes of the July 20, 1775 Pennsylvania issue are known as “Resolve Money” because approval from the Royal Governor to print these notes was not given. This note has 4 crowns beneath the British Arms, with each crown representing 5 Shillings of value. Nature print can be seen on the reverse, printed by Hall & Sellers on paper that contained mica flakes and blue silk threads. Appealing problem free example. Additionally, this note bears the signature of Adam Hubley. Hubley was an American patriot who served as a First Lieutenant in the first Pennsylvania battalion.
