The notes of the July 20, 1775 Pennsylvania issue are known as “Resolve Money” because approval from the Royal Governor to print these notes was not given. This note has 6 crowns beneath the British Arms, with each crown representing 5 Shillings of value. Nature print can be seen on the reverse, printed by Hall & Sellers on paper that contained mica flakes and blue silk threads. Lovely detail remains on this VF/XF example.
