Sold Out

This Pennsylvania note from the October 25, 1775 issue was printed by Hall and Sellers on paper containing blue threads and mica flakes. The 4 lowest denominations (including this 3 Pence note) were smaller in size and features a type-set design on the reverse rather than nature print. The Penn Arms can be seen with the front. Striking uncirculated example with crisp paper, bold printing, and bright signatures and serial in red ink. Lovely note for the price point.
