This Pennsylvania note from the October 25, 1775 issue was printed by Hall and Sellers on paper containing blue threads and mica flakes. The 4 lowest denominations (including this 4 Pence note) were smaller in size and features a type-set design on the reverse rather than nature print. The Penn Arms can be seen with the front. Striking uncirculated example with crisp paper and bold printing. Distinctive blue threads can be seen on the reverse. Well deserving of the EPQ designation from PMG. Lovely note for the price point.
