Pennsylvania Colonial Note Fr#PA-183 October 25, 1775 6d PMG 65 EPQ *Exceptional GEM*
This Pennsylvania note from the October 25, 1775 issue was printed by Hall and Sellers on paper containing blue threads and mica flakes. The 4 lowest denominations (including this 6 Pence note) were smaller in size and features type-set on the reverse rather than nature print. The Penn Arms can be seen with the front. Striking GEM uncirculated example with crisp paper, bold printing, and bright signatures and serial in reddish ink. Well deserving of it’s EPQ designation from PMG. This Gem is worthy of any elite colonial collection, surprisingly under the 4 figure price mark.
