This late issue Pennsylvania note was printed by Francis Bailey on paper watermarked PENNSYLVANIA in two lines. The front features the Commonwealth Seal and the reverse has nature print. Interestingly, this 2s6d bill has the printer’ name misspelled “BAILLY” on the reverse. Of the 54,546 originally printed, only 12 are known to survive today. This example has splits that have eaten through the watermark.
