This very early 1756 Pennsylvania note was printed by Benjamin Franklin and David Hall. On the front, the Pennsylvania Arms can be seen along with 4 crowns representing the value of this note (1 crown for every 5 Shillings). “Printed by B. Franklin” remains exceptionally bold along the bottom of the reverse along with fern nature print. Exceptional eye appeal on this note for the grade of 25. The signatures on the front remain clear along with strong paper and bold ink, especially on Franklin's name. Seldom seen note, of the 15,000 20 Shilling bills originally printed, only 15 are known to survive today. That is 1/1000 of the original print run by Franklin.
