This early Pennsylvania note was printed by Benjamin Franklin and David Hall. “Printed by B. Franklin” can be faintly made out along the top of the reverse along with nature print. Interestingly, this note was printed with an inverted back, sometimes seen from this issue, possibly deliberately as an anti-counterfeiting measure or a simple error at Franklin’s print company. Nice legibility for the grade on this technically comment free note. Scarce note, of the 18,000 originally printed only 13 are known to exist today.
