Pennsylvania Colonial Note Fr#PA-87 July 1, 1757 15s PMG 12 *Printed by Ben Franklin*
This early note was printed by Benjamin Franklin and David Hall. There are 3 crowns denoting the value (1 crown for every 5 Shillings) on the front. On the reverse, “Printed by B. Franklin” can be clearly read across the bottom. Interestingly, the reverse of this note is inverted as a printing error. Beautiful example, tough to find this nice. Although this note is not perfect, it is relatively legible especially Franklin’s name.
