Pennsylvania Colonial Note Fr#PA-88 July 1, 1757 20s PMG 15 *Printed by Ben Franklin*
This early note was printed by Benjamin Franklin and David Hall. Very attractive legibility on both the front and back of this note. There are 4 crowns denoting the value (1 crown for every 5 Shillings) on the front. On the reverse, “Printed by B. Franklin” can be clearly read across the bottom and “To Counterfeit is Death” can be read across the top. A leaf nature print is visible on the middle of the reverse. Interestingly, the reverse of this note is inverted as a printing error. Beautiful problem free example.
Signers: Henry Harrison, Joseph Morris, Joseph Redman
