This early Pennsylvania note from the May, 1758 issue was printed by Benjamin Franklin and David Hall. 4 crowns can be seen above the Arms on the front of the note, representing the value (5 shillings per crown). The reverse features nature print and “To Counterfeit is Death”. Franklin’s name can be clearly read along the bottom of the reverse. Appealing note with decent legibility throughout and in problem free condition from PMG. It is quite difficult to find these notes in comment free condition like this example.
