The July 2, 1780 Rhode Island issue was interest bearing and payable in Spanish milled dollars. Printed by Hall and Sellers featuring a black typeface design on the front and red & black ink in the back with emblems similar to Continental Currency. Printed on “CONFEDERATION” watermarked paper. Absolutely gorgeous and large size uncut sheet of 8 notes. It is incredibly rare to see intact sheets of colonial notes in general, not to mention this large and in such fantastic condition. This sheet is particularly neat because it represents every denomination of the issue $1-$20 I do not agree with the grade from PMG, the tear occurs in the right margin and while the rest of the sheet should grade GEM uncirculated in my opinion. This sheet represents incredible value prices at just over $300 per note. An elite piece for any high caliber collection.
