This bill from the July 2, 1780 Rhode Island issue was interest bearing and payable in Spanish milled dollars. Printed by Hall and Sellers featuring a black typeface design on the front and red & black ink on the back with emblems similar to Continental Currency. Printed on “CONFEDERATION” watermarked paper. Striking crisp choice uncirculated note with light paper, bold ink, and blazing signatures. There is also a neat bunch of blue silk thread over the denomination and a large mica flake over Comstock’s signature. Well deserving of the elusive EPQ designation from PMG as well as the evergreen sticker from GCC affirming the quality of this example.
