This 1786 late issue Rhode Island uncut pair was printed by Southwick & Barber and features a typeset design with an elaborate boarder and the Rhode Island State Arms on the left center. Smaller denominations such as these have a blank back. This issue was riddled with depreciation, by 1789 these notes only carried 10% of their original value. Consequently, over 96% of this issue was burned by the state between 1793 and 1803. Printed on watermarked paper. Gorgeous oversized uncut sheet of 4. These are extremely hard to find, it is incredible that this sheet has survived nearly 250 years intact. Fully signed and serial numbered.
