This note from the November 15, 1775 South Carolina issue is small in size and features a neat seal with a lighthouse surrounded by a wreath. This note was printed and engraved by James Oliphant with a blank reverse. Incredibly scarce, of the 10,000 20 shilling notes originally printed only 9 are known to survive today. Backed but nice whole example.
