This note from the November 15, 1775 South Carolina issue is small in size and features a seal with XXX surrounded by a wreath. This note was printed and engraved by James Oliphant with a blank reverse. Of the 10,000 30 shilling notes originally printed, only 7 are known to survive today. This example has attractive eye appeal on the front and is backed by an interesting piece or a story/poem. This note was a part of the Kimpton Collection.
