South Carolina Colonial Note Fr#SC-110 November 15, 1775 2P PCGS 15 *6 Known*

This note from the November 15, 1775 South Carolina issue is smaller in size and features a seal at the bottom right. This high denomination 2 Pound bill features a unique seal with an outreached hand and a hand wielding a knife. This is tied together with the encircling Latin motto “UTRUM HORUM MAVIS ACCIPE” (Accept whichever of these you prefer). This note was printed and engraved by James Oliphant with a blank reverse and a neat left borders with a basic flower design. Extremely scarce, of the 10,000 2 Pound bills originally printed, only 6 are known to survive today. Very interesting and scarce note in relatively nice condition with this issue usually seen in low grades.
