This $3 note features a neat emblem of the Oracle at Delphi encircled by the latin motto “FATA VIAM INVENIENT” (The fates will find a way). The reverse features ornamental borders along with “DEATH to Counterfeit”. Circulating notes such as this are far scarcer than remainders and demand a premium. Scarce 1776 South Carolina note priced accordingly for the missing corners.
