The notes of the April 10, 1778 South Carolina issue were printed on thin paper from engraved copper plates. The 2 Shilling, 6 Pence bill carries a bold and beautiful vignette of a pair of cornucopia. The 5 Shilling note has a vignette of a phoenix. Very attractive note near uncirculated and incredibly tough to find as an uncut pair. Incredible piece for the price.
