South Carolina Colonial Note Fr#SC-99 June 1, 1775 10 Pounds PMG 10 *Large Size*
This jumbo sized South Carolina note was authorized by the Provincial Congress on June 14, 1775. These bills were printed on very thin and weak paper with engraved designs making them difficult to fine whole. This 10 Pound note features an emblem of a hand holding a sword with the latin motto “ET DEEUS IMNIPOTENS” (And Almighty God). Despite some repairs this example has a nice whole appearance and attractive eye appeal for the price.
Signers: John Loyas, Aaron Loocock, Thomas Savage, William Parker, Edward Blake
