This jumbo sized South Carolina note was authorized by the Provincial Congress on June 14, 1775. These bills were printed on very thin and weak paper with engraved designs making them difficult to find whole. This 10 Pound note features an emblem of a hand holding a sword with the latin motto “ET DEEUS IMNIPOTENS” (And Almighty God). Very whole example, much nicer than usually seen. High eye appeal for the grade.

Signers: Thomas Middleton, Aaron Loocock, Gideon DuPont, William Gibbes, Wiliam Parker, Edward Blake
