Virginia Colonial Note Fr#VA-129 October 20, 1777 $8 PMG XF-45

$595.00

The October 20, 1777 Virginia issue was printed by Alexander Perdie on heavy rag paper with blue silk fibers and mica flakes. The dates on this issue were partially written by hand. The Virginia state arms can be seen at the left with the motto “SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS” (Ever thus to tyrants). Absolutely stunning XF/AU example with crisp paper and bold ink. Very difficult to find this nice.
