Virginia Colonial Note Fr#VA-29 April 5, 1759 20s PCGS 10 *Ex. Ford*
This extremely early Virginia note was printed by William Hunter on thin laid paper. The front features large state arms and denominational borders printed using lead cuts. Interestingly, in excavations of Colonial Williamsburg cast lead cuts used to print this issue were found near where the print shop was located. Lovely detail remains on this unique note. Previously a part of the Ford Collection.
