This small size July 17, 1775 note was printed on thick rag paper containing blue threads. The engraving and printing of these notes were done by William Waddill and Robert Scot. Scot went on to be the first engraver at the first U.S. Mint in Philadelphia. The state arms and detailed boarders of this note are present on the front. This 2 Shilling, 6 Pence note has incredibly bold printing for the grade and has a more interesting design than some of the other small size notes from this issue.
