This small size July 17, 1775 note was printed on thick rag paper containing blue threads. The engraving and printing of these notes were done by William Waddill and Robert Scot. Scot went on to be the first engraver at the first U.S. Mint in Philadelphia. The state arms and detailed boarders of this note are present on the front. This example has been tape repaired.
