This Virginia issue utilized cast cuts from the previous issue, slightly modifying them with new denominations, boarders, and state arms. This note was printed by Alexander Purdie on heavy rag paper containing blue threads and mica flakes. Incredibly nice example for the grade. Of the 1,000 originally printed, only 3 examples are known to exist today with this note being the finest. Previously a part of the renowned Ford-Boyd Collection.
